Squire’s Shepperton will once again host a leading rose show on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 June, as part of the weekend’s Rose Festival event

Returning to Squire’s for the 47th year, the free show is hosted by Squire’s in partnership with The Rose Society UK, of which Colin Squire OBE (our Chairman Emeritus is President. The festival weekend will present an amazing opportunity to enjoy stunning displays of roses by an impressive list of expert growers who will be travelling from across the country to display their roses at the two-day event.

The Show will take place in a marquee in the Plant Area at Squire’s Shepperton, where a range of exquisite roses and arrangements can be indulged in, along with the intoxicating smell of the nation’s favourite flower. The Rose Society’s experts will be on hand on Saturday afternoon, following judging, and all-day Sunday to offer advice and expert tips to visitors.

Rose Society Patron, award winning garden designer and horticulturalist, Adam Frost, will be in attendance on Saturday 29 June*, signing books, chatting to visitors and answering questions.

There will be a festival atmosphere over the weekend where visitors can enjoy a range of food and drink tastings including Silent Pool Gin and Bramble Foods, as well as some unique offers not to be missed and exclusive to Shepperton’s Rose Festival weekend!

The Weber BBQ Experts will be joining us, serving a range of tasty BBQ creations rustled up using their innovative products. Join us to enjoy some amazing flavours, as well as learn some top BBQ tips!

Dylan’s ice-cream will be in attendance on the Saturday bringing with them their outstanding flavoured ice-creams, which use the freshest of ingredients from Surrey and Hampshire farms - and are definitely made with lots of love!

Rose advice will be on-hand with expert advice from our friends at Wharton’s Roses, who have been growing British roses since 1947.

To add to the atmosphere, there will be music courtesy of saxophone quartet, ‘Saxcelerate’ between 12-3pm each day, catch them outside in the Plant Area.
