Allium Chrisophii, also known as the Star of Persia, is a classic huge headed Allium. growing on a singular stem these alliums offer ease of care and decades of blooms. Flowering in mid-summer with their famous shade of purple that attracts all manner of bees and butterflies to its star shaped flower. known for its value for money and maintenance this is a favourite among gardeners, new and experienced. best placed in a full sun setting at the back of your beds and borders allowing for the huge flower heads to rise atop and float in your bedding areas or wherever they are placed. Plant bulbs from September to December 15-20cm deep and 10cm apart in fertile, well-drained soil.
