Panicum Prairie Sky 3 Litre

Panicum Prairie Sky is a large deciduous grass that flowers with a green/ blue flower during the summer months with foliage turning into a golden orange hue as summer progresses into autumn. This amazing grass is native to prairies of North America and thrives best when in a full sun position. Emerging from the ground with a deep blue and green hue in an upright clump of sword shaped leaves that also flower from August to September with a creamy feather like flowers that has a shimmer effect as the winds gently catches the delicate spikelets. Due to the size of this we feel that Panicum Prairie Sky would look at its best at the back of your borders allowing for a sense of depth. Panicum Prairie Sky will need to be pruned back to the base at the early spring as this can look a little shaggy plus pruning back will help promote new growth allowing for a healthier plant. Panicum Prairie Sky will reach a height of 1.5 metres with a spread of 1 metre.
