Thyme Foxley 10.5cm

10316480

this shrub boasts irregular and unusual variegated leaves that take on a creamy pink shade and mature into dark and deep greens with the erratic variegation. With its creeping low growing style this would look best cascading down a herb container or basket. Thyme is typically used in culinary dishes such as complimenting tomato dishes, fish and many others. Native to the Mediterranean regions Thyme thrives best in a poor dry soil where the shallow roots can take easily and allow this to spread however, we have noticed thymes does very well when incorporated in a rockery allowing for plenty of drainage. Flowering occasionally with a Pinky/ purple flower welcoming any bees and butterflies to its nectar rich flowers. As this herb can get woody, we recommend trimming once a year to help maintain the shape and style of this amazing specimen. Thyme Foxley will reach a potential height and spread of 50cm.
