New Guinea impatiens are the perfect plant for adding colour to your shaded beds, borders or containers through the summer months. The Glimmer series is the first double-flowered impatiens to be resistant to downy mildew. Burgundy has wonderful lush green foliage that provides the ideal backdrop for the rich burgundy-purple rosebud flowers. This plant prefers a moist but well-drained soil and a position in full to partial shade but can grow in full sun if kept well-watered. With a potential height of 35cm and spread 30cm, Impatiens are one of the most versatile and well-loved summer bedding plants.
