Sweet Pea Perennial Everlasting Mixed Seeds

10043535

This free-flowering sweet pea perennial everlasting mixed seeds variety will scramble and clothe fences and shrubs year after year. Enjoy the pretty 'sweet pea' type flowers consistently. For optimal results, sow these seeds indoors, about 1.5cm deep in a tray of compost. Keep the tray well-watered and place it in a cold frame, unheated greenhouse, or on a cool windowsill. After 14-28 days, you'll see the first signs of seedlings. Transplant them individually to 8cm pots when they are large enough to handle, taking care to hold them by a leaf, not the stem. Gradually acclimate young plants to the outdoors, avoiding frosts, before planting them 45cm apart when the frost risk is over. Provide support for the plants. Alternatively, sow these seeds outdoors in a seed bed, thinning the seedlings to 5cm apart before transferring them to their flowering position in the autumn. This variety thrives in well-drained, fertile soil under full sun, making it a great choice for cottage gardens where it can scramble through established shrubs, walls, and fences.
