Sweet Pea Perfume Duet (Grandiflora) Seeds

Immerse your garden in the captivating scent of sweet pea perfume duet seeds. These dainty, heavily scented, bicolored grandiflora blooms are a true delight. They are a vigorous climber and make excellent cut flowers. For the best results, sow these seeds indoors, placing them 1.5cm deep with five seeds per 12cm pot of compost. Keep them in a cold frame, greenhouse, or cool windowsill, maintaining a temperature of around 60°f. After 12-21 days, you'll see the first signs of delicate seedlings. Encourage bushy growth by pinching out the growing tip after the second pair of leaves appear. Gradually transition the plants to outdoor conditions, avoiding frosts, before planting them 30cm apart with the support of tall canes or netting. You can also sow these seeds directly into well-prepared, moist soil and thin them as needed. Protect young seedlings from birds and overwinter autumn sowings in a frost-free location.
