Runner Bean White Lady Seeds

Runner bean white lady seeds offer beautiful white flowers followed by prolific crops of high-quality beans that are stringless when young. These beans are known for setting flowers well, even in hot weather, making them a dependable choice. As with most runner beans, starting them indoors is ideal. Sow your seeds 2.5cm (1") deep into individual pots filled with compost, maintaining a warm temperature of 15-20°c (60-68°f). After they germinate, gradually expose them to outdoor conditions, ensuring the frost has passed before planting them out 25cm (10") apart. Be sure to provide suitable support for them to climb. For direct sowing, plant seeds 5cm (2") deep in finely prepared soil, ensuring it's not too cold or waterlogged. Maintain a spacing of 30cm (1') between seeds and 45cm (18") between rows. Keeping the soil well-drained and fertile will help you grow thriving white lady runner beans, and they'll also add a decorative touch to your flower border.
