The Crocus Grand Maitre is a garden favourite and a wonderful selection for your garden. The crocus within this collection are a stunning bold purple in a beautiful cup shaped flower. When bought in a good quantity, this crocus will give you a striking display of colour across your beds and borders. You could even harness the colour in a pot or container. Prefers a moist but well-drained soil in a full sun to partial shade position. The Crocus Grand Maitre will need protecting from frost in the early spring months before flowering from February to March. Best planted September to November using a bulb planting compost to promote a strong root growth and plant development which will result in healthier bulbs and brighter flowers.
