Tulip Lily Flowered Ballerina - 8 Bulbs

This Packet of 8 fragrant Tulips offer you a brilliant grey green foliage with a fluorescent orange and yellow flower. Flowering late in the spring these are best complimented by an earlier flowering variety as this will increase the length of colour, you’ll receive into your garden this spring as the earlier tulips finish their blooms, you’ll notice upright stems ready to burst into life, sometimes if the season allows, you’ll have the early blooms mixed into the late flowering giving you a fantastic display of tulips. This variety of Tulip is approximately 60cm and so make these ideal for creating a spring flower bouquet. Plant tulip bulbs from September to December 15-20cm deep and 10cm apart in fertile, well-drained soil, if planting in containers you can plant more closely simply by spacing the bulbs 1-2cm apart in a single layer, or 2-3cm apart if layering them for a showier impact. Flowering from April through to May recommend in a full sun but can tolerate a partial shaded area.
