A tulip with a very bold colour, the Queen of the Night is always an outstanding choice. With a strong purple colour that almost appears as black to the flower, this tulip really is a fantastic selection for any potted border display. Prefers a well-drained soil in a full sun position, this tulip flowers from April to May. It is recommended that these bulbs are planted at a depth of 8cm with a planting distance of 8cm between the bulbs. Best planted in September to December using a bulb planting compost to promote a strong root growth and plant development which will result in healthier bulbs and brighter flowers.
