Belles Rives is a compact bush rose that has recently been bred within the last ten years, supplying your garden with a dark pink double bloom during the mid-summer and if deadheaded you will be rewarded with a second bloom towards the end of the summer and into the autumn. Bush roses are like normal roses in terms of their resilience to diseases and planting parameters. Roses will grow basically any where in nay type of soil from hard clay soil in full sun to a sandy soil in a much shadier area there really isn’t many places a rose will grow. Once blooming has finished you can prune back as hard as you like as roses flower on new growth so the harder it is pruned back the stronger the blooms and growth next season.
